Went tonight to Monkeywrench for a book signing and presentation by David Solnit of the Globalize Liberation Roadshow. His book is Globalize Liberation
How to Uproot the System and Build a Better World.
He encouraged the 25 or so people in attendance to organize to change local conditions. He's right, there's not much we can do about the big things, but we all can contribute to the greater good in our immediate vicinity.
Afterwards, Nelly visited and filled me in on her experiences at the Capitol and the events that are being planned. Exciting stuff.
