Sine Die

The 79th session of the Texas Legislature ended yesterday. To celebrate I attended the Sine Die party at the ACLU. Lots of legislative staffers and members of the lege also. The evening's entertainment was provided by the Austin Radical Cheerleaders, who were celebrating the demise of Al Edwards' HB 1476 . It would have prohibited “overtly sexually suggestive” performances by Texas high shcool cheerleaders.

After the party I found myself on the patio at the Hotel San Jose with a small group of people that included my state Representative.
