Post 4th of July

The long week end was much enjoyed and appreciated. I did a lot of resting and visiting with some of "All My Children" who were visiting from out of town. Last night I watched the City of Austin fireworks display from a friend's pier on Town Lake.

Last Thursday I went to see my neighbor in a show at the Vortex. Appointment With Death is an Agatha Christie play set in the Middle East in the 1930's. I was impressed by the quality of the acting, the set and the costumes. After the play some of us when to Opal Divine's for nachos and beer.
