Texentrics

Tonight #2 son and I rode the bus down to the Hole in the Wall to hear Sumner Erickson's new band, the Texentrics. The band had only played together once before, and at that time they didn't have a name. Tonight was their first show under the new name, which is a clever one in my opinion. An added treat was the presence of Roky in the audience.

The place was full and the crowd very appreciative. The Texentrics cover Texas musicians like Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison, and of course, Roky, but mostly they perform Sumer's orginial material. They will be playing at the Hole in the Wall on Friday nights from 8:00-9:30. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
