Mourning New Orleans

I have not felt like blogging since the ravaging of New Orleans. The whole situation is too sad, I can't get my heart around it. Some of my happiest times were spent in NOLA back when I was young. That place will never exist again.

The human suffering has been too much to bear. One can't even comprehend the misery.

So much can be said, must be said, and will be said about this time in history. But right now, I'll just post an Irish proverb sent by my friend Steve:

"God sent the potato blight, but England brought the famine."
