Fenelon
Probably twenty or more years ago I cut a quotation out of the newspaper and put it in a little frame. I still have that clipping and have read it hundreds of times over the years. It says:
It is only imperfection that complains of what is imperfect. The more perfect we are, the more gentle and quiet we become towards the defects of others. ~~ Fenelon
I never knew anything about "Fenelon", but - thanks to Wikipedia - I now know that he was a Catholic theologian born in France back in the late 1600s. I'm off to learn more.....
